Raise Your Hand, Coach
Any positive step in changing your recruiting results - and the course of your program - requires that you, as a coach, take the first step. Here's what happened to one coach that did.
Raise your hand, Coach.
Some of you are reading this and you know things aren’t headed in a good direction for your program, and chances are it relates back to recruiting. Or, the athletes you’re bringing in don’t fit your style or the culture of your program.
Regardless, make something happen. Take the first step. Raise your hand.
And by the way, that doesn’t have to have anything to do with me or Tudor Collegiate Strategies. Bad at selling, or think you can’t? Listen to sales podcasts. Don’t like the way you write? Order one of the 10,000 books on the topic from Amazon. Don’t understand how to market yourself on social media? Google experts in your area to come give you advice. See a coach having success in your department in an area that you aren’t seeing success? Take them out to lunch and pick their brain.
The point is, nothing will change until you do something different. And if you’ve read this far, it means there’s probably something going on that needs to be changed. So change it.
Raise your hand.
