Several questions came in from our previous article, which outlined several key components of any solid recruiting effort from a college coach, and I think that the reason we got all of those inquiries from coaches was because they don’t want to end up looking like the coach pictured above when it’s time to start conversations with a new group of recruits.
One of the main questions centered around how that article related to those first contacts with recruits, and whether the foundational strategies we recommend would change in light of all the shifts in the college sports world we talked about.
In short, no.
But I would emphasize that there are three imperatives that any coach should make sure they include in their first call agenda - and this information is based on the latest trends and data we track for our clients year around.
