Cramming for Your First Contact Test? Don't Sweat It...We've Got Your Back
If you're looking for last minute tips on how to outperform your competition on opening day, feast your eyes upon these links to genius approaches:
I’m not proud to admit it, but there was a good degree of cramming for tests in college by one Danny Tudor in the mid-to-late 1980’s.
Much of the time, it didn’t turn out too well (thank goodness they don’t list GPA’s on diplomas). But sometimes, I did incredibly well. One truly legendary performance featured me putting off studying for the final until a few days before, reading sections of the book, and then unleashing my unbelievably advanced writing skills on the essay final, earning an A- on the test and in the class. Two friends of mine who were far more disciplined, and studied everything for weeks, got B’s. They probably still talk about it in the hallowed halls of California State University, Bakersfield (or at least my imagination tells me they do, whenever I think back to that Doug Flutie-like academic Hail Mary that somehow resulted in a touchdown).
So now, some 40+ years later, here you are: A college coach that may be realizing how important the impending first contact day is, and realizing that you took the same route that I did way back when.
You are my spirit animal, Coach. And I’m here to help - not cheat, but help. (Although it may feel a little like you’re cheating, if the results are what I hope they are for you).
